Jeff Conovan is the husband to Lois and dad to Cash and Courtney. He has been the DBISD Superintendent since February 2022. Jeff started his career in public education with the Katy ISD in 1985. He has worked in all levels of education from driving a bus route to being the field agent for the Texas Superintendent Certification Institute.

Jeff is excited about the opportunity to lead Dime Box ISD. He started in DBISD as the Interim Superintendent with no plans of becoming the permanent leader. The interim experience was so positive and the staff and Board were so supportive that Jeff applied for the open superintendent position. Jeff’s background in closing gaps, challenging high achievers, and leadership development has made for a great fit in Dime Box.

Jeff’s hobbies include following the Dime Box teams and other school competitions. He is a member of the Lions Club in Dime Box. Jeff also enjoys visiting the JP’s Office and Prosperity Bank.
